Over the years there have been some notable CSGO skins that have sold for some hefty price tags. Today, we take a look at the most expensive CSGO skin of all time.
Weapon skins didn’t release with CS:GO and it was the following year, in 2013 that CS:GO skins were added to the game and since then there’s been no turning back.
Valve have implemented more than 30,000 skins into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and they still frequently release new skins. Although you can buy and sell CS:GO skins, it’s unlikely you’ll come across some of the items on this list, as we bring to you the most valuable CS:GO skin list, of all time!
1. Karambit | Case Hardened (Blue Gem)
Although this item hasn’t been sold per se, it sits in a Chinese CS:GO players inventory and is estimated to fetch a price tag of up to $600,000 USD. This item was first traded back in 2016 for reports stating it went for as much as $150,000 USD. What makes this item so unique is the how the Case Hardened pattern is printed on the weapon. Instead of displaying all the metallic colors across the blade, the user who opened a case and snagged this item was exceptionally lucky as the knife took on 99% of the metallic-blue gem color, hence where this beauty of weapon gets it’s unofficial name from!
2. StatTrak™ AK-47 | Case Hardened
Another Case Hardened skin on the list, this skin in particular sold for a whopping $150,000 back in January of 2021. This lucky AK-47 was unboxed with a predominant blueish hue – which makes it far more eye catching than the regular Case Hardened version of this weapon skin. The skin also comes with 4x ‘Titan | Katowice 2014 Holo’ stickers, which can fetch $40,000 on their own. Case Hardened drops from Arms Deal Collection case, the oldest type of CS:GO case – making this skin pattern one of the oldest in the game.
3. Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore
Is there a more iconic Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skin than the Dragon Lore? Now, picture how rare this coveted weapon is. Some reports suggest it’s rarer than 250,000 to 1 found in the Cobblestone Collection…Now enter AWP Dragon Lores’ bigger brother – the Souvenir. This skin is ridiculously rare, as it takes the same baseline principles of the regular Dragon Lore, but only dropped for players watching live tournaments. One of the most recent sales of this item saw it going for more than $70,000 in May 2021.
